Can I use job-arrays?
NO!
Submission of job arrays is possible with torque batch system, but we strongly recommend not to use the job array feature because it is extremely buggy! In a recent release of torque the nomenclature of job arrays was changed to contain brackets: <jobid>[<N>]. Since then the very most torque tools did not work any more. e.g. even plain counting of jobs results in negative numbers in queue listings! Please use other methods to submit jobs with similar parameters as single jobs.
