bwGRiD: New software available / old will be deactivated
We will have a maintenance of the cooling system tomorrow (as you may know). We will try to use this time to install some new software and deactivate old ones.
The default software settings will be changed as well (e.g compiler/intel/12.0(default)) (if do not know what this means, there will be no changes for you ;) ). This software will be deactivated (if you need some of these, please mail us and we will activate them again):
system/python/2.6.7 will be moved to devel/python
system/maui/3.2.6p19 will be deactivated, not needed
system/torque/2.5.4 will be deactivated, system installation
numlib/gsl/1.12 will be deactivated, old
chem/desmond/30110 will be moved to 2011
chem/desmond/4 will be deactivated, old
compiler/intel-10.1 will be deactivated, including dependencies
like: mpi/openmpi/1.2.8-intel-10.1, ...
