24.04.2012 downtime bfg/bwGRiD clusters
yearly scheduled maintenance of air condition and important updates will last till 17:00 (estimated), lustre maintenance will take longer.
as already indicated earlier, there will be a downtime of both clusters on
!-> Tuesday 24th April 2012 8:00 - 17:00
The long queue is already closed,
the medium queue closes monday morning 23rd April.
We plan to combine the yearly scheduled maintenance
of the air condition with some important upgrades of operating
systems, kernels, BIOSes, firmware and so on.
This especially includes user filespace on
fs1 and fs2 and the bfg lustre file system
which will hopefully be enlarged significantly.
We expect that lustre will not be available
again before
